The Boy, The King, and The Chihuahua

(I JUST READ COMPANY),
http://www.iJustRead.com
--:

This is the kind of children's book that adults secretly covet and hoard to themselves. The kind of book you hope to read night after night to your kid. No lie. If you care a whit about writing and creativity and dreams, then
Salvador SeBasco's book will still exceed your expectations.

I spent part of this afternoon talking with the author of The Boy, the King, and the
Chihuahua, Salvador SeBasco. During that time, he read part of this delightful book to me. Had I not been in public and surrounded by others, I would have cried. Why? It inspires the imagination of children! A delightful, heartwarming and inspiring gift I wholeheartedly recommend.

I hope you have some special children in your life you can purchase this book for, because it will provide the inspirational flames for their creative genius. A rare gift indeed.…

HAVE YOU JOINED THE FREE MONTHLY MAIL LIST

March 8, 2006 (This letter contains live links to pages mentioned in blue.)

Humdinger hopes to fulfill your needs as a writer or reader. Readers will appreciate the wide variety of fiction and poetry available in our huge monthly e-zine, Humdinger Literary E-zine. Most of us want to be published, and we offer several ways to meet that end: Submissions to our e-zine (we’ll help you correct that short story or poem to prepare it for publication), our publication links, and writing contests (on this page, you’ll find a link to other people’s writing contests too!). Contests are inspiring, and so is our FREE monthly newsletter, Jack of Genre: Newsletter for Writers. Jack only comes once a month, but offers readers literary news, articles on writing, marketing, and publication, plus links, tips, and humor for writers. You can subscribe by clicking here. If you want to meet me, the editor, you can find me in several places: the Eclectic Editor’s Blog (where you’ll learn the truth about the publishing industry, writing, and the destruction of English—as opposed to gentle additions of colorful language), my Writing Page (with useful tips to get published sooner, and at my e-mail: Editor@humdingerzine.com Don’t forget the resources writers need, such as Writing Links to websites that help writers get inspired, edit their work, market it, and get published. Of course, there are surprises along the way and most readers and writers bookmark Humdinger and visit frequently to read the e-zine, my regularly updated blog, and other changes here.

I hope I’ll get to know you as a reader and writer, developing a relationship of mutual respect and quite a bit of friendly support. We pat each other’s backs and create the dreams we were meant to write!

Pen to Paper~
